Calvin here. This blog is getting more dead. Where's the peak period? Seriously. POST MORE LAH. NOT JUST ON THE TAGBOARD. ZZZ. Anyway, here to address some of the Teacher's Day 2009 Class tribute concerns.

Each person will receive 2 discs of Twitter - Disc 1: The Film; Disc 2: The Twitter Walkthrough.
There are 10 different disc covers available: Edward, Bella, Esme, Carlisle, Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, Alice, Victoria and James. Only 4 copies per design will be printed; while stocks last.
Inside each copy will contain a Twitter bookmark, available for everyone.
There will also be a slip of paper acknowledging whether you have won a rare Twitter figurine. Four figurines are available only: Edward, Bella, James and Victoria. If you have won, kindly wait for two weeks for the figurine to be made. This slip of paper will be attached to the disc cover.
The disc cover can be pulled out to reveal a family portrait of the Cullen family and a full-cast portrait, all hand-drawn and reprinted.
Each copy is FREE. No money is needed to be paid (exclusive to Class 1E1 only).
Note: Do not post this video on YouTube or other internet sharing websites unless authorized.
Disc 2 contains the following features: Behind-The-Scenes Walkthrough, Director's Note, Deleted Scenes, Extended Scenes, and "Becoming My Character" feature, which will feature all the cast in an interview.
The discs will be given out on Friday 4th September. This is subject to change.
Note that Disc 1: The Film has subtitles provided and there are two added scenes inside, which are not shown in the premiere.

-You should be receiving messages at around 6.30pm every day (except for Saturday), informing you about that particular day's homework.
-SMSes are free; you do not need to pay.
-Take note that messages are subject to change at any point of time.
-SMSes are sent at exactly 6.30pm
-Connection may be slow and there may be technical problems, if such, please wait approximately 4 hours for the SMS to arrive.
-Phones must be on to receive the SMSes sent.

Calvin here. :D Just changed the blogskin. Hope you guys will love it. However, there are some problems with this blogskin, and other features.

1. YouTube videos must be resized, if not, taken out completely.
Sorry about this. But because of the lack of space, the video must be resized. Still trying to find out the correct dimensions. In this case, you must edit the embedded code.

2. Instructions
For this particular blogskin, the space is small. Try not to put any formatting in it. This is because, some instructions may be covered up, any may be rendered useless if there is formatting in it. This is so for the previous post on the YouTube instructions.

3. Navigation
This blogskin is no longer the type where you just scroll and see. No. You have to click around for navigations. If you are able to see this clearly, this means that you know how to navigate. Do not say that there are no posts because you do not know how to navigate. The navigation are STATED CLEARLY when you arrive.

4. Homework list
In future, for any homework, it will be updated here approximately before 8pm. Due assignments the next day are also listed. In future you will have NO EXCUSE on forgetting homework :D (Evil crackles)

Anyway, I need to emphasize the class tee shirts. Currently, 33 people have paid. Qi Wang and Shi An, please pass the money to Hui Wen ASAP.

For every Wednesday, you will see Physics and Chemistry on the timetable. You are required to bring both Chemistry and Physics materials to class. A message blast will be made later (=.= I haven't done Physics. So CHIM. HELP!!!)

You can now put in any songs you want, as long as they are from YouTube. If you need help, please tell me. I can help you.

It's very simple to upload a song from YouTube. Just follow these steps:

1. Select a song/video from any YouTube video.

2. Under the information on the video thingy, you will see 2 codes: The URL and the embedded code.

3. COPY THE EMBEDDED CODE AND PASTE IT ON THE BLOG POST ITSELF. This way, the video will appear here. For example (using "Love Story" by Taylor Swift):

Note: YOU MUST HAVE FLASH PLAYER TO UPLOAD MUSIC FROM YOUTUBE. Or else, the

video will not play. Because of the massive file on the video, the blog may take a while to load.

Just be patient.

DO NOT UPLOAD OFFENSIVE/PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL ONLINE. If the song contains vulgarities,

Hello again guys...

I just got my letter from NIE today. It is confirmed that I will be joining NIE this July. Officially, my last day in Sembawang Sec will be on Thursday 23rd July. In this case, I will still be your co-form teacher for about three weeks. You might get a new co-form teacher to replace me (I'm not sure about this).

Anyway, before I leave, I would like to thank everyone of you for the support, trust and love that you've given me in my 3++ months at Sembawang Sec. You guys will always remain in my heart as you are my first form class ever. Remember to study hard and have faith in yourselves. All of you are my dear sweethearts and the best class that I've taught. It has been one of the best experiences for me.

Once again thank you for all the wonderful memories.

Hello Everyone..

Please read this post carefully and heed the instructions ok.

1. Log on to the school website and download 2 forms. One is for your parents and the other is a travel declaration form.

2. I need all of you to print out these forms.

3. Give your parents the form for parents and submit the travel declaration form on Monday when you report back to school. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO SUBMIT THE FORM ON MONDAY. IF YOU FORGET TO SUBMIT IT, SOME ACTIONS MIGHT HAVE TO BE TAKEN. THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER OK. (FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAD TRAVELLED TO AFFECTED PLACES DURING THIS JUNE HOLIDAY, PLEASE REFER TO THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FORMS)

4. For those people who for whatever reason are not able to print the forms, please collect it from the school guards (at the school gate) from 8am tomorrow morning.

5. Please be informed that no students are allowed into the school premises for this week (22-26th June). This is for safety measures.

If you are not in Singapore today, you have until this Friday or Saturday (I'm not sure if the school is open on Saturday), to collect the forms from the guards. However, my advice is for you to print it on your own.

The form will be on the school website from 3.30pm today.

p/s: Kenny and Calvin, please activate the relay system and pass this message to the whole class. I need to know the number of people who are aware of this by 5pm today.

If there are any questions or confusions, please call me. You guys know my number right? I dont want to become a celebrity by posting my number online.. HAHAHA...

One last thing to note. Another teacher will be taking over my IH lessons from next semester as I might be going to NIE very soon. This teacher is very experienced and a highly qualified permanent teacher and I seek all of you to give your full co-operation.

We are civilized and civil-minded people correct? Where has our class spirit gone? All the memories we had at the orientation camp, fade away? Because of our reckless, ruthless, terrible behavior, our class outing was cancelled. That's only one of the many reasons. Our class spirit? It's down to the dumps. Please, look at this. CANCELLED. GET THE BIG PICTURE? Many teachers have been complaining, the class committee (except maybe Huang Xiang and Justin, sorry if I have to mention names), councilors, chairman, vice-chairman also. Please, for goodness sake. Understand how they feel. Do you think all of them like to keep asking all of us to SHUT UP? No, correct? HOW would YOU feel if you were in their shoes? THINK ABOUT IT?
Now, what is coming our way is DETENTION. GET IT? Do you all want detention? Do all of you like clean records just to be smeared by this big word? I don't think so. So, please. Civic-minded people don't act ruthlessly. They don't make unneccessary noise. Not that I don't make noise, but we can all strive to be better, correct? Don't call me a show-off here, I'm just stating the facts. Think about what I said. And also what Kenny said. Goodbye.
